I'm too afraid to ask how my husband's 401k is doing. Maybe money stuffed in a mattress is a better idea...
Head deeply buried in the sand here, eyes closed, ears plugged. Idontwanttoknow, Idontwantotknow. I feel like I am 6 and was told to clean my room.
When we've worked 10 years + to save and invest, and then find it disappearing over two weeks - yeah, I'm struggling for breath too!
Tough times call for tough actions, i.e., throw those statements into a drawer without even peeking! You knwo they're bad, why torment yourself with just how bad!
my husband updates me on our losses almost daily. (Short term finances are mine - bills, etc. - long term finances are his.)
Oh...Scott is back...HI Scott !
I'm trying to ignore this global break down...you know..the motto...out of sight out of mind...
xoxoxo
Yah, could you just IMAGINE how bad it could be if we didn't have social security???
