Tomorrow....AHHHHHHHHH

Soooo, I'm doing my pre-travel panic. I mean it is amazing that my husband and I are still married, he has to deal with this every.time.we.travel. I panic, freak, clean, organize to the point of compulsion, write lists, check the baggage three or four because I pack so early....

I'm insane...and it's only gotten worse since we've had children.

That and I'm nervous, so we end up at the airport, like 6 hours early (I'm only slightly exaggerating).

Anyhow, once I get on the plane, settle the kiddos with their gameboys/DS/Leapster whatever gaming handheld machine they have and the plane takes off and there's NOTHING I CAN CONTROL ANYMORE....I can relax....

Until it's time to get the luggage.

But, I do plan on keeping up with the blog in a travel diary kind of way with pictures, should you choose to stop by! But right now, sorry I haven't been keeping up with my fave blogs, I've been having a momentary freak out!

I knew I was compatible with Hubby when we took our first trip together...and he insisted on getting to the airport even earlier than I suggested "just in case". Yep, we're a pair of nervous travelers.

Happy Trails...I'll be eager to hear all about it (having been to most of the places on your itinerary. Ok, so I've not visited your Bro and his lovely bride, but all the historic places you'll visit, I've been to!)

No matter how far you're traveling, it's natural to get panicky about being ready. All it takes is one trip where you're missing a must have to make us insane about packing.

Have a great time!

Traveling with kids is a packing nightmare. There are so many "need" variables. And of course the house does need to be thoroughly cleaned so that when you arrive home you don't have to clean + laundry.

Enjoy the trip.

I am right with you there. We are going to Mexico in ten days and I am in full panic attack mode. I think my husband is ready to shoot me with a tranquilizer gun...
